New Member to the site, and a new small business owner.

We just started a construction company and hire most ID Contractors paid via 1099. Our comp cost is 28% of payroll at the end of the year for any employee or IDC who is not insured.

Does that sound high to you guys? What are other people paying, what industry, how long in business?
