If I have an aggravation of a previous work related injury, is it covered under workers comp?!??? I live in WV . In the past yr, I have had 3 hernia repairs containing 6 hernias in all. I just returned to work about a month ago , with a permanent lift restriction of no more than 15lbs. I have another hernia, and I was wondering if it would be covered under workers comp??
aggravations are new injuries. if it was aggravated at work then you can file new claim.

Well this will be the 4th time . Every other time, they have just reopened my case and went from there.

i'm not sure what your question is.

sounds like the answer is yes. if it worked the last 3 times why wouldn't it work again?
are you leaving some information out?
Well previously, I was on the floor working (in the hospital) and now I am in administration. I am restricted to lifting , however, I do still lift minimal things. About a week a go I noticed a lump and severe pain over the incision of the last hernia. I contacted brickstreet and asked them if this injury would be covered and they said that they claim was still open and that a reaggravation would be covered, but I am still hesistant.

If the carrier cannot give you necessarry reassurances I'm not sure what value an anonymous public message board can be.
you can try contacting the work comp court
