Hi, I just received a letter from ssdi cancelling my Dr. appointment that ssdi had set up. Should I be worried or is this a good thing. They received my medical records from my family physican, therapist and Psychiatrist. I'm dx with bipolar, panic attacks with agophobia, anxiety and chronic pain. I had to leave my job of 12 years of nursing because of my illness. Thanks so much.
I would not be worried about it. I would be curious as to why. So I would contact the drs. office and inquire.
Well in my case they setup a doctors appt for me. A week before the cancelled it and then I got my first letter telling me they turned me down. I filed an appeal so then they set up another appt. A week before that they cancelled it and then got a letter telling me I had been turned down for the second time. Hate to say it but who knows what it means for you. Hope it works out better then mine

That's when I got my cancel notice, one week before. Thanks for responding and I'll post an update when I get my notice.
Like I said I hope you have better luck then I. Far as I can tell there would only be two reasons to cancel your appt. They decided to give it to you or they decided not to. They could be just changing doctors but the first two would be the most likely. Again good luck
