I feel in my heart that things will be okay.
Please keep us updated and let us know when your surgery is scheduled.
When I saw the surgeon yesterday it was for the left hand, he took one look at the right hand Trying to add the right hand to wc) and said I want to do surgery on the right hand.
It is very frustrating as the judge's decision is not in on the back, right hand & knee.
Had to tell the surgeron can't do it, may be wc.
So surgery is scheduled next week for the left hand.

Sometimes I think these WC people are stone crazy. Like what is happening to you with you right hand trying to get it added on to your claim. Example, like my lil sister. She was a banker for over 25 tears, typed and wrote all day using both hands.......duhhhhh.....not just one hand. She did this all day overworked like so many people are today with no breaks, not even for lunch. She developed carpel tunnel in both hands not just one and had surgery on both. She is now disabled from scar tissue and also RA and having to take Orencia infusions for the RA. I think this is what is happening to you and instead of taking care of it they will fight against you instead of trying to get you well. I truly feel for you because I watched what my sister went through and ended up terminated from a job she worked over 1/2 her life at as she is only 45 and that was her only job she ever held.
What day next week is your left hand surgery scheduled for? Please let us know so we can say extra prayers for you on that specific day or that morning of your surgery. Keep us posted my friend. God bless and love ya!

My surgery is Tuesday, June 9th.
I worked as an Early Childhood Teacher for 10 years, art & craft projects daily, working on developing fine motor skills with the children, cleaning the classroom, and diaper changing, all contributed to the carpal tunnel. Then there is the use of the cane since 2006.
I can not imagine not being able to use the hands and do feel for those with severe carpal tunnel.
The left hand is in the moderate range and also involves problems with the thumb joint. The right hand, and dominant hand is by far worse then the left. The pain keeps me awake at night. When the doctor tried to do the injection he had problems getting the needle in and then when he did I couldn't tolerate the pain.
Now we wait for work comp.

I Hope Your Surgery is a Success, and w/c doesn't Stop it at the Last Moment as they have been known to do!! You will be in My Thoughts and Prayers for a Quick Heal Time, and a Surgery date that is Actually Kept!!!

This has started our to be a busy week.
Yesterday I took my niece (whom I am raising) to the hospital. By the time I got her to ER whe was having problems breathing and was taken directly to a treatment room.
My niece has kidney problems and she was in the hospital a year ago and was in shut down. Didn't know what the problem was when I took her to ER, just knew she was having lots of pain.
Foundout she also has problems with the liver, this worries me as her Grandma she lived with has hep C. My niece, Bree is home from the hospital and on medications. My niece is 16 yrs.
Monday my son has a sleep deprived EEG at the medical center to eval his seizures.
Tuesday is the carpal tunnel surgery.
Thursday is a garage sale & fund raiser at my home for my nephew. Carson is in the National College Rodeo Finals which start this weekend.
Friday my niece teaches art classes to children with disabilities.
