has anyone ever had a problem with bone spurring after a fusion?i have many bone spurs that are really bothering me and pressing nerves. can they be removed and will it help?
Blake, I will say I can tell you about this, but you will need to relax, and then try to understand on how the body system works.

Bone spurs happen after a fusion and also with arthritist. Arthritist can not be removed, but it can be cleaned up. It will come back. The point is, you first need to know, what type of bone spurs you have, and the type of formation they are before anything can be done. Then the position of the bone spurs if they can be removed or not. Bone Spurs are a body system making fusion on their own, to protect an area in danger or in pain.

i know they say its forminal narrowing.not sure who to talk to to have it fixed or if its something than can be fixed
Foraminal Narrowing is often referred to as (Stenosis)

Often pain medications and physical therapy are not enough to combat the symptoms of foraminal narrowing. In many cases a surgical approach is required to relieve pressure on the nerves.

But, now, all this would be in the hands of a Neurosugeon, if it is possible to correct or not. We, here wouldn't be able to know this.

Now, I do have Stenosis at L1 and L2 in the Lumbar area. I have never elected to do anything for it, as it is something that will be painful some days, and less painful other days. I learned to deal with it.
