Just a quick question, I go in for my si injection tomorow and possible l5. Has anyone suffered any side effects?

Also I dont go in till 12:30 and then injections at 1:30. They say I cant drink anything after midnight is that right? I go to work at 3:30 am thats along time not to be drinking anything, well at least for me. I was first told 6 hours before now its 13 1/2 also says no hard candy gum.
hi and from my exp..i had 3 injections within 2 months and they were painless with no side effects there kinda intimidating bc there in an operating room but there nothing at all to worry about i mean the most you will feal is when they numb the site to where there put the injection so i wouldnt worry keep us updated as to if yours goes as well as mine take care
oh i forgot that after the injection you can eat anything or drink anything that you want and the injection itself dosent take very long good luck
thanks......
Good luck, I hope it will help you also.
Thanks again BBBB.
I'll be thinking about you today Bronco...good luck

where are the injections going in? i was supposed to have them in my cervical area but because of an acme flare up the dr cant do it for the risk of infection,so who knows if i will ever be able to get them.i really dont think they will work anyways from what i have been told by other people who also had them.but anything is worth a shot at this point.

I had 3 injections ina 3 month period;at first I did feel relief; but after 4 months my pain got worst;now Iam having a 3 level laminectomy discetomy as soon as its approved; good luck to you

Well I had it done and now I,m back. It wasnt what I expected, they asked me if I wanted to be sedated. I said no lets just do it, well it did hurt but only for like 10 seconds. I do have pain but more like preasure says to just ice 15 - 20 min and take pain meds. I have not yet felt relief but more pain then before. They did decide to go into the SI joint first. And was angered when he found out that I have not had any mri's done of my spine. So now I go for those next week.

But really my visit there was a breeze & would take that over having a tooth pulled anyday.
