Brianne had her monthly OB/GYN check up this morning.. and they have moved her due date closer to the 19th of September. And this was the magical month.. they did her ultra-sound. And yes, they were able to tell exactly what it was, as the baby slept through the whole thing.
I will become a grandma to Victoria Nicole Butler if and when she decides to make her appearance in September. We were almost positive that it was a girl as Bri is carrying high and wide, just as I did with Brianne and her sister.

baby Tori, as my daughter is already calling her, will be my 3rd granddaughter.. and I have 2 grandsons. Possibly more, but I haven't heard from my oldest daughter since 2001 when she gave birth to my eldest grandson who turned 8 in February. I am sure that there are at least one or two others, but couldn't tell you. I still have my youngest son who will eventually give me more grandchildren...but that better be a long, long time from now, as he is only 15.
I will be meeting 2 granddaughters and one grandson for the first time when I travel to MI at the end of the month. The twins, Kia and Kassie turned 4 in March, and their little sister will be three in September. If all goes right, I will be in the delivery room when little Tori is born and be one of the first to get to hold her. I am so psyched.

Thank you all! My fiance and I are thrilled. Like I've been telling people since just about the time I found out I was preggo, I knew it was a girl, just needed a doctor to confirm it. Nearly all of the old wives tales said girl - cravings for sweet and salty versus healthy (ate nothing but chocolate for almost two weeks!), high and wide, even the wedding (err, engagement) ring trick.
