The good news is my oldest daughter Connies trip to Iraq has been cancelled(thank you Jesus and all who prayed)But finaces are so tight for her she needs us to take the kids for 6 weeks this summer so she doesnt have to pay 1200 a month to a sitter.....the other Grandparents will take the other 6 weeks and will save HER 3600 dollars for the summer.....I am getting the first 6 weeks because I have a special trip planned for the last week in july or the first in August...huh sweets......as Sweets, Red and I will try and meet up wagon train style in our campers for a week of just down home sit in a lawn chair sip ice tea and visit......no fancy side trips just loving every minute of being together as cheap as we can get away with
Jayne, this all sounds so great. But, hey, where is the bad news?
her kids are not well behaved and I am not looking forward to bringing them in line
I can truely understand Jayne, as I had my granddaughter who is well behaved stay on her spring break vacation and that is just one kid. I could not imagine 6. Your a real god send to take on that many and be in pain. I pushed myself every day to get up and get dressed and think of what to do with her. It is not easy. Your daughter is very lucky to have you to help out watching the kids and I am so happy to hear that she is not going to Iraq. That is a blessing in itself!!!!!
we live on a small farm so there are always chores and weeding if we ever get a garden in...however a farm can be a dangerous place for a city slicker who cant tell a harmless garden snake from a copperhead.....and if they refuse to mind I will have to buy some handcuffs from BBBB and keep them close
Congratulations on the good news and good luck with the bad news. You can whip them into shape in no time, putting them to work on the farm. I bet they love you for disciplining them Jayne. It shows you care!
