I got a message today from a nurse case manager asking me to call her and that she had gotten permission from my attorney to talk to me. I have not been able to get ahold of my attorney to find out about this. Does this sound fishy? I was under the impression that the attorney was going to be the middle man. I have had an attorney for 2 years and this is the first time the IC has tried this.
I really do not trust or want to deal with insurance co. which is why I got an attorney. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Save the message, wait till monday, and contact your Attorney. Then if it is true, ask the Attorney why they didn't notify you about this first.
