I am going for my 3rd AME (IME) this month. My question is, would it be overstepping my boundaries if I remind the AME to be specific about certain areas in his reporting? It seems like supplemental reports are common because these docs forget important data. Mostly future medical is not spelled out to my I/C's understanding.

Or are supplemental reports just a delay tactic?
Thanks!
often times the report is written months after the exam. I doubt your comments during the exam will enable a more complete report then the written instructions provided by the attys. generally future medical is automatically included in california. Although outlining specific treatments and area of the body can be helpful in determining future liability.
delay for what?
treatment and disability payments should continue during the process depending on the issues in dispute of course.
My report was written and sent to me within 30 days after my IME exam. There is a certain time limit I guess for each state to have a certain amount of days to get the report back to the IC. I know here in NH it was 30 days and if they are late in getting it back in time there can be a fine.
