As the heal could heal in time, do you have any permanent neurologic injury from the T 12 fracture?
As the heal could heal in time, do you have any permanent neurologic injury from the T 12 fracture?
At this point it is unclear the extent of the damage done and what if any the long term effects will be. Insurance has attempted to make it a non issue. Presently I am pushing to have this brought to light. On the other hand I am told the injuries to both heals, is expected to be life long and dibilitating. Have you any background in such, or just curious?

Hey Limbo, tnx for taking time to reply. Did not mean to come off in any negitive fassion. In the general public(and certainly from the Ins).I have been getting alot of missleading info. My intent was to find out if B/B has or knows of any who have calcaneous injury. As I am told the expected recovery of industrial use of both of my feet, is next to nill. This being both the opinion of my doctor, and the medical community in general. I am neither angry or sarcastic, I search for real time information. From someone who has been through the same injury. That is why I came to this forum. So far the w/c system has not been a roller coaster, it has been a God send. With out which both me and my family would be cold and hungry. Presently my doctor has told both me and the Ins co. I am TTD, for one more year. At which point he expects to write, total loss of industrial use of both legs,(ankles). The back situation is up in the air. If my direct attitude and line of questioning have turned any away. It is likley they had nothing in the line of information to offer. If they have reached out an offer of compassion and or friendship. I most certainly accept . I continue my search, respecfully YIN
Wow fast response ,thanks so much for your concerns .
Had to Leave the Computer for a Bit, Yin. I have not had the Injury You have, I am Totally Disabled due to a Lower Back full of Scar Tissue, and just Recently have gotten to the Point that My Legs won't Hold Me for any Length of Time, so it's the Power Wheel Chair for Me, Great at 46 Huh! I Spoke out of Turn and I Apologize, I Hope You find the Answers You Receive, and w/c Continues to Treat You Well!!

Limbo, Very sorry to hear of your misfortune. I turned 45 in hospital 600 miles from home all alone, with not even a hope. Of a family member or frindly face in the future. So I walk a mile in your shoes. No need to appologize. As you have in no way offended me.
I travled for work, and was on a roof when a tornado system came to town. Picking me up and dropping me 27 ft. To a paved surface. I shatterd both my calcaneous, as well as a spinal fracture. I travled extensivly for the Army special forces in my younger years. Have seen first hand what can happen to the injured in a lesser system. So at present am grateful for, what I have. However with that said, I have liittle doubt that the future. Holds the necisity that I purchus knee pads. And prepare for the royal treatment at the hands of the insurance co. For the time being I reach my hand out in friendship, to you. As well as all others who would recieve it in sincarity. Have other things requiring my attention at present. So let me just say....NO HARM NO FOUL,,HOPE TO TALK AGAIN SOON...YINSHU22
