Live in NC. Out of work with a neck and back injury from November 2008 until first of January 2009. Recv'd benefits, back to work on light duty... no lifting over 10 lbs. Have decided to move, therefore I will be quitting my job. What happens with this claim and my injury? I am still on llight duty and have no feeling in my left palm.
It should follow you, just make sure when getting new job you stay within restrictions. Your medical follows you not you job. Good luck.
Thank you! I guess I need to get in touch with Employee Health and touch base with them also!
Bronco has given You Great Info., the only thing I want to Caution on is to Make Sure You Speak with Your W/c Ins. Provider and Make Sure there are Dr.'s they will Approve where You are going. Sometimes it's a bit Hard to Find Dr.'s that will Deal with an Out of State w/c Claim and Injury, so Touching Base with the Ins. Co. May be a Good Move! Good Luck!!Wink
Thanks so much for all of your advise!
