I am going in for fusion on c4-5 and c6-7 on Monday. I have read many old posts on here and I want to thank all of you who have posted about this type of surgery. I am scared to death, I have had other sugeries in my life and was never this scared.

I am so glad I found this site to help alleviate some of the stress of this process. I haven't waited nearly as long as some people on here. I was injured 1-22 and will be having surgery 4-13. I hope to heal quickly and get back to work before my FMLA runs out.

Thanks again for everyone putting their info out there for others to learn from.
Get well soon and update us on your progress ! Will include you in my prayers. God Bless
good luck and I hope it goes smooth for you
May the Surgeons Hands Be Steady, and Your Recovery Quick!!!Wink
Thanks for the positive thoughts. I can't wait to be on the road to recovery and be done with all this.
Hi Raider:
I'm wishing you all the best. I had 3 levels done C4-C7, the easy part is the surgery, the hard part is the recovery when you get home...follow the post op instruction to the T...write down notes of any nerve pain or problems so that you can take them to the Doctor appt, make sure that you write down when your suppose to take medication I only suggest this because I would forget when I took my meds...
I wish you all the best. GO into the surgery with a positive attitude.
