Hello To My Family,

I returned from my trip on Saturday. My baby sister and I flew to Tunica, Mississippi. All our expenses were paid by Harrah's Casino in New Orleans and it was a wonderful relaxing trip. We arrived on Wed. and returned on Sat. We slept in and moved slowly....lol. IN the afternoon we would go to the casino for about 5 hours and play then we would have dinner round 6pm. After we had dinner we would go back to the room and watch TV or order a movie. We ordered the movie MILK and it was not a good movie. I like Sean Penn but this movie was aweful. We would turn in for the night quite early and had plenty of rest.

I was lucky enough the first day we arrived and the first machine I sat down at I cashed a $80 ticket. I put away my original money that started me on that machine and but my winnings in another area in my purse. I continued to hit tickets, another for $72, $150, $80. I ended up coming home a winner with $160 of their money and never had to use my own money. I have never done this before whenever my sis and I go on a trip to the casino. God was looking over my shoukder and knew I could use a few extra dollars so he took real good care of me. Can you imagine being in a casino for 3 days straight and not losing your butt?

We really had a great time and I am looking forward to the next time she gets an all expense paid trip to someplace else. They offer trips to Tahoe and I would love to visit there. Maybe she will get one of those one day and we can go. She has gotten free trips to Laughlin, Nevada and we had booked it to go but had to cancel because Mom became pretty ill and we could not leave.

It is good to go but it is always good to come home. I hope everyone has been doing okay while I have been gone. I have some reading to catch up on during the time I was absent from the forum. I will catch up on my reading.

It's good to be back with all of you. God Bless all and take care!

MJC, Have been to Tunica a few times, it is fun, and the buffets are great. whenever you can come home with more than you go with, You are a winner. Laughlin is a fun place to visit, The river taxies are fun on the Colorado river. or take a paddle boat ride...........The river walk is a must see....
welcome back to the hood.lol.
Tuffy,
We did not eat any of the buffets. Actually we just ate a small bite of something in the morning and then at night we ate dinner. We ate at the restuarant called "37" at the Harrah's casino. Oh My God, it was do wonderful. I had a surf and turf of a filet and lobster and my sis had the ribeye and we split a ceasar salad. It was so good the first night we ate we went there again on the 2nd night and ordered the same thing except we each took a dessert to the room. She had cheesecake and I had carrot cake.....both were wonderful.
