well my rehab lady dropped me yesterday and I think my ltd is about to drop me also.This lady was telling them I was not doing what she wanted.Well wrong i was sending her 5 or more jobs I put in for every week as i was told.May have to change my name to hurt and broke.This lady was telling me like you don't have to tell them about your restrictions and my lawyer said that if i didn't and got a job they could fire me,I have kept him in the loop and he is seeing everything she is doing as I am sending him all her e-mails that are mean or rood,jobs that are out side my restrictions and so on.My state is not one thats employee friendly the laws are more for the employer.so I guess i will see how long it takes the ltd to kick me out and they are going to as i have talked to them and they sided with the rehad lady.guess i better be finding a job (ya rite).thanks all for hearing me wine.
Hurt- they did this to me. Have a copy of your list of applications and make sure it shows who you talked to and if any made a offer why you could not take the job.

Common sense tells one that a possible employer must be aware of your restrictions....because what if you land a job....and then after you are hired, you cannot do it?
You must be up-front....but do not dwell on the subject. That's what I was told during VR

what does your lawyer say to do? can they really cut off your ltd when you are trying to find work and can't? have you been released to work from your dr? i'm sorry it doesn't seem fair at all. hope things will work out.
she wants me to say nothing and in my state is work at will so the can fire you for looking funny.I believe being honest and up front is the way to be as I would want the same thing from a employer.I don't know why my lawyer wants to know but wants all info.the ltd insurance company is looking at all my stuff and I know the rehab lady did things to make me look bad,so I know they are going to boot me.thanks all.

I find it odd that you only had to search for 5 jobs a week! I'm in Michigan, and I had to search for at least, 5 jobs a day. It was dififficult process, and took up 3/4 of my day job hunting.....after a while, one runs out of places to look...I even went through the yellow pages cold calling every business in my area, 3 times A-Z ! I also had several job posting sites that I would visit daily.
I do not believe she can lawfully drop you because you have told the employer the truth! Keep your chin up....hopefully your gut feeling is wrong!

Well if they drop me I will have a job next week and I told the employer about my restrictions and he didn't care.I will get dropped by the LTD ins company.This has to be the first job interview ever that hired me on the spot and he was cool with me calling him back with a answer as the job has been open since february and two jobs at that.
Hurt, You have a Very Good Attorney, and They will Sort this Out! The Rehab Ladies Messages to You May even Cost Her the Job She Has!! If You want to Work, and can, Congratulations on the Job, but if You Feel You are not going to be able to do it, Think Hard before You Accept, Your Health is Number One!! hurt I believe as everyone else, that you must tell a potential employer about your restrictions. What if they hire you and then find out you can't truly do the job and as you said, they can fire at will... then where do you stand with W/C. I am glad you got a job and that you were honest about your restrictions and I am really happy if you are happy about this, but document document document everything just as people said above. I guess that's why i didn't take the job as I wanted to talk to the wife and think about it and talk to my lawyer.I sent him a copy of what this lady sent me by e-mail yesterday as I know they are going to can me.I guess im thinking about my family and no in come that's why i when to apply for the job I didn't think he would offer me a job rite then.But I can sell anything is good with people and I have ran my dads car lot in the past so it will be easy for me to pick up there way of doing things and the good part is you only work 3 days a week or more if you want too.I have not decided and im waiting to see if I get the boot.thanks all.
