I was injured on the job 2-13. Was taken to the emergency room and after x rays was diagnosed with a sprained ankle. It was so swollen and bruised that 2 more sets of xrays were made over the next 4 weeks. There were no visible breaks. After being on modified for 5 weeks the company Dr released me even though the pain was still terrible and the swelling was still present knowing full well that i couldnt even walk let alone do my job, ( Im a dock worker and also drive semis) .Now im layed off and after complaining they sent me for a 3 phase bone scan it shows bruising and or stress injuries to various bones in my ankle. During the first 4 weeks the company Dr. made me go to physical therapy which I understand could cause permanent damage since there was no time for ligaments and soft tissue to heal.If it turns out there are fractures and other damages to my ankle do you think i would be entitled to a settlement? Thank you Dana
It depends on your state. some use impairment and others wage loss to determine additional benefits.

yes if they leave you with permanent impairment and can be connected to the industrial injury.
