Well, guys my youngest daughter got a letter today from the university of oklahoma. She got accepted, she was so excited,as I am beaming with pride of her too. It's about time we got some good news in my family. Also I will be moving in June, still in Oklahoma just in a different town.My soon to be ex husband and I are going to be living very close to each other so we both can take care of our son.He needs both of his parents. Do you guys think that is weird?Where he moved to we both have family in the area. You guys all have agreat day.I'll be watching out for storms moving in within a couple of hours,AHHHH gotta love tornado season.
Not wierd at all.I hope that you and your soon to be ex can remain friendly, My wife and I go to parties at her exes house and everyone gets along great. i hope that for your sake you can keep a friendship going with him.Congrats on your daughters good news.Take care.
congrats on your daughters collage...and no kid can have to many people to love em
Half it sounds like great news and can tell by your post that you sound very happy. If your happy than I am happy and that is all that counts. Congrats on your daughter and like the others have said, if you and your ex can remain friends for your son and daughters sake I think that is the best for them. Good luck and keep the good news coming. : O)
Hi Halftrak

Congrats on your daughter! WOW!!!

I think it is awesome what you are doing moving close to your ex so your son has the support of both parents. My son is very attached to his father and behaves much better when around his father.

PM me and let me know what town you are moving to, thanks.

thats great halftrak, it doesn't sound weird for you to be near your ex. i live 10 miles from mine. that way we can both see kids. good luck on the move. take care
halftrak- this is one of the best things you can do for you son. My ex and I lived two blocks apart for years so John could see his Dad when he wanted. We just made it a point not to ask questions about what goes on at the other house.

congrats on your daughter being excepted to college.
Great News Half!!!Smile I'm Glad Your Husband is taking a Role in Your Son's Care and Life, and You should be Very Proud of Your Daughter!! How's that Go: "When God Closes a Door He Opens a Window!!!":)
Halftrak,
