Did you paperwork say to take PAIN MEDS before the test? That's what mine says...I'm going in a hour and thought I would ask all of you.

Mine never did, and would not, for it slows the nerve reaction down. Or signal.

That's what I thought as well. I was surprised to see that on the paperwork. What the hell were they thinking when they put that in there?!

It does also depend as to whom, and why this is taking place. Is this for a Work Comp case or something?

Yes, and to check for how much weakness there is on the left side now that C8 T1 is slowing at a faster rate. At this point if I move my head in a downward fashion my neck goes into a horrible pain.

Okay, that's what I thought, they are going to try and say your improving and getting better. Possibly to reduce something.

Oh, C8 is a Nerve by the way, not a vertabre. That is my damaged nerve.

It will not slow the nerve conduction down nor will it alter the test in anyway. That's not how opiates work- Wives tale. Pain meds are a good idea since the test hurts.
