Mine never did, and would not, for it slows the nerve reaction down. Or signal.

That's what I thought as well. I was surprised to see that on the paperwork. What the hell were they thinking when they put that in there?!

It does also depend as to whom, and why this is taking place. Is this for a Work Comp case or something?

Yes, and to check for how much weakness there is on the left side now that C8 T1 is slowing at a faster rate. At this point if I move my head in a downward fashion my neck goes into a horrible pain.

Okay, that's what I thought, they are going to try and say your improving and getting better. Possibly to reduce something.

Oh, C8 is a Nerve by the way, not a vertabre. That is my damaged nerve.

Babe, don't take Your Meds.!!! W/C wants Your Nerves to be as Calm as Possible, so it shows less Damage, if Any!! My Ins.Co. for My W/C Case sent Me for an IME a while Back 1 1/2 Hrs. from My Home, so I Called My Attorney and Requested the Ins. Co. Provide Transportation, I wasn't going to Drive Somewhere where they are going to try and Use the Results Against me, I'm not a Sadist!!!
My Attorney was Astounded, and Said He Never had this Happen to a Client Before, they Sent a Caddy Limo. and a Driver to Pick Me Up!!! They wanted Me to get there as Smoothly as Possible, so the Test may go Their Way!! But in the End it Back Fired on them, this Dr. didn't Stick His Neck Out, He only Agreed with Their Original IME Dr., who had been Found Non Credible in My Case by a w/c Judge!! So Be Cautious, and Don't take those Meds!!!

Thanks Guys...I'm having my son take me and he is going to "flip video" the whole thing. I haven't taken any meds since 3 a.m. this morning so I'm good to go! I will let you know what it says later...takes for your comments.[/u]

It will not slow the nerve conduction down nor will it alter the test in anyway. That's not how opiates work- Wives tale. Pain meds are a good idea since the test hurts.
