My computer died awhile back & I'm on my nephew's this weekend.
I tried e-mailing an old friend of mine & I got one of those "automatic replys" stating *That he passed away this past Jan.* I'm assumeing his brother put the auto reply on; but I have no way of getting in touch with him. I do have a full name of a friend of the friend of mine whom passed away. But again no address or e-mail. Every site I do a search on asked for $$. I'm on WC & really can't afford paying search sites for info. (I'm also supporting my son & my grandson right now too). So; any suggestions?? I thank you ahead of time & If I don't answer; then I went home & will be back here at my nephew's in about aweek. And I'll answer anyone then. Again; Thanks Guys. Jaycojade.
See if you can get a local newspaper on-line to check obituaries. I think Reunion.com you can find out the town that someone is in and sometimes a phone #. I just found an old friend this way 2 weeks ago. I actually got his fathers phone # and went from there. Good luck.
Jay, it May Cost You I believe $1.95, but Use Your Cell Phone and Dial 411. They will Ask You for City and State, and then Name. Hopefully You can at Least get a Phone Number to Call to Check on Your Friend! Best Of Luck, I Hope You find Them!Smile
Go to http://www.whitepages.com. It is a complete online directory. You can search a state or area by name or partial name. If you know your deceased friends address, you can search it and it has a feature to show you all of his neighbors. Maybe one of them could help you out. It is a very useful site (even has reverse search for finding names associated with phone numbers), and will save you the 411 fees the phone company charges.
Thanks PPL ~~ I knew I could count on you guys..
