Help! I am back to work at 7.50 per hour and comp is making up most of the difference. my question is that on feb. 12 was my 5yr aniversary and I was eligable for my 2 week vacation pay. If I take it is comp not going to pay me for the week I take my pay? I am in Michigan and I dont have to take my vacation pay but I need it to pay bills. What should I do?
If your vacation is based on your new wages 40hrs x $7.50 and your old average weekly wage was higher, then they still have to adjust your WC pay to make up the difference. Are you making less per hour than you were before?
Send them your vacation week checks and they should adjust it just like a normal week.

I was making 19.00 per hour and the vacation pay was accrued at that amount, now I am on a return to work job untill I am able to perform my normal job. Thats where the $7.50 per hour comes in to play.
