I was recently injured at work and taken to emergency room from work for repair of said injury. I could not return to work that day due to the severity of the injury, but returned on my next scheduled workday for light duty.
Upon receipt of my check the following week I noticed I was not paid for the remainder of the time I was scheduled to work the day of the accident.
My question is if this is normal, or even allowed. I have heard through several non professional sources that this is at the very least unusual for a company to do if not illegal. Thought I would at least look into it before I open my own big mouth
