I have been on TTD and then to PPD and Attorney would like a reclassification back to TTD.Why does this make a difference?Ins.Co.Is voluntarily going to pay 25 weeks until they get Med records then re-evaluate the position?Whats going on in Ia.
each state has it's own rules on workers comp. you should put your state in your profile.
Born, I can Only Speak for Pa., but TTD means Total Temporary Disability, and has no Time Limit, and PPD Means Partial Permanent Disability, which Means You have been Released to Work with Restrictions, You have been Rated, and the Payments are Lowered for the Amount they think You can Earn via a Voc. Rehab. Survey and Payments last 500 Weeks, and then End!! So it Means One Heck of a Lot here in Pa., You should be in Touch with Your Attorney about this!!!Smile
