I am having fits with this eye....I have appt wed and will see what he says...the floaters and black dots are everywhere....making it hard to read.....you all give admin fits

What type of eye doctor are you going to?
I ask this because of my life long history of eye problems.
I can only go to certian types of doctors for treatment of my eyes.

Bummer I dont know what kind he is..he is a eye surgeon recommened by my eye doctor I dont know what all he did but the flashing lights are gone...but the floaters and black dots are still here my head is in the middle of a migrain cycle that has something to do with the eye as it is not responding to normal meds.......All I wanna do is lie in a cold dark place.....I do not feel like it is getting better at all
Jayne, this information is far into left field, but I have heard of this before. To much or too little vitamin A. I've heard too much vitamin A, can cause Flashing lights & Floaters. The bad thing is, it's stored in our Organs, and can take years to clear it out. Just as it took years to build up.
I'm still praying too.

i also hear it could be from pressure on the blood vessels on the back of the eye becoming inflamed or detatching.
