HELPPPPPPPPPPP, If you all remember my computer crashed and had to have it rebuilt, I have a cannon dig camera that was working fine before the crash.
Now I can't get it to work. When I load the disk that came with the camera I get this message. any ideas.
"The screen resolution to execute digital camera is not sufficiant"

Can I change the screen resolution????

I also went to compatable wizard and I get this message
" Another installer is running, retry after installer is finished"
Hopefully Wink or one of the computer people come on to help you Hun. I have NO idea what to do.....
Backache, Isn't it fun to be so DUMB about computers? I am a real idiot!!! Now ask the kids and they can just about write a book. I may have to go back to using my old 35mm camera. at least I know how it works.LOL
Tuffy,
You can change your screen resolution by doing the following: go to "Start" and then go into "Control Panel", double click on "Display", click on the tab marked "settings", down at the bottom you will see the current screen resolution such as 800 X 600 pixels with a more or less slider. Move the slider to a higher resoultion and try again, this was what I originally had to do with my camera.

You may not have to use the disc if the program installed on your computer from using it before the error message came up. If all else fails, go buy the memory card reader that I got and hooks up to your USB port and loads your pictures fine. Mine was from Walmart for $8.88. Good luck.

Vickie, Thanks girl, It worked and I just downloaded my pictures from my camera, Now my screen and type is small soI need to adjust that so I can read it. LOL
Great info, Vicki!Smile
I have my pictures on my computer, Now to figure out how to e-mail them. I have AOL as my e-mail addy, and clearrate for my server. Clearrate will not send them and AOL will not let me attach pictures, as they are working on a new system. I can attach file but when sending get a error and try later message.... Anyone know what's up with that??????
Thanks Wink, alot of these things, I have learned thru you or AQA or from having to do the same thing for my camera, which is the same one as Tuffy's. I too would change the resolution back to the 800 X 600 size afterwards to read things. I don't have to change anything since I bought the little memory card reader though.

Tuffy,
Maybe try going to http://www.tinypic.com and load your pic there and you will be able to copy the url and put it into emails or the url for forums and such. Good luck my friend.

Hi Tuffy sorry to hear the troubles. Open your new email. Right click and Insert picture, then choose to optimize photo for sending. I'm wondering if the size of the file is too large. Are you trying to send more than one picture?
