Hi every one Dr changed my mobic to celebrex cause I tried the mobic and felt dizzy-light headed and need to drive. Anyone have complaints or comments on this new one he put me on. I know there N-saids just looking for input.
i take celebrex, but i cant tell the difference when i take it when i dont. hope it helps you.
I tried celebrex and i couldnt feel any difference when i took it and didnt as well. It was changed to Lyrica and Mobic . Im on 8 different medications for pain not to mention the other 5 for other health reasons . Im quite concerned about my liver. LOL . PM Dr wants to put in a intrathecal pump . Decisions Decisions !
I, too, am on Celebrex with no noticable effects. I have a friend for whom it works great, though! It seems to be like everything else:you won't know until you try! Good Luck!
Hey I'm new but have the same info as everyone else. I've been on celebrex 200 mil 2x a day. Doesn't seem to help. But have a friend that swears by it.
Tha's why celebrex is so safe...it's like taking water.
Thanks everyone.. I have been taking celebrex now for 3 days and no change. I have script for 8oo mg ibu that I have used before and just quit working, went in to see my regular Doc today for abdomin pain and back hurting more. He thinks maybe nerve pain near surgery site. I see my surgeon in 2 weeks and wants me to talk with him about it. I have had ct's and mri's and still they have found nothing, but thats the bandaid station here in this town, Hope to see better results at Marshfield where my surgeon is from.----Bronco
Bromco- I had good results as far as helping with the pain but took the celebex with effecoXR . It helped with the pain but it killed my kidneys and caused me to have to be on dialysis three times a week for the rest of my life, also caused a bleeding ulcer. Just make sure to have blood work done every three months if you take it.

If you have nerve damage the only way to tell is through a nerve conduction study - done by a neurologist. Trust me when I say it's not the most pleasant thing I have been through but also not the most unpleasant considering the pain of the nerves that I deal with. These are problems that will be part of my life because of medical reasons - but also nerve damage done by a work injury that never healed.
