Has anyone heard anything about any new WC laws in Cali? I have a friend who said it will now take 6 - 12 months to get into the WCAB and that the ins. co. can now decide when they have paid you enough money and just stop anytime while you are on TTD. These don't make any sense to me so i'm wondering if anyone has heard anything. I don't feel like wading m way through a bunch of legal jargon right now so thought I would come to the source

Ive not heard of that yet. There is new legislation, Ill post what I read.

Joe Baca (CA) introduced legislation (HR 635) to examine state and nations work comp. system. The last review of the states work comp laws was in 1972 during the Nixon administration.

Iam doing some research on HR 635, Ill post more later.
