there is something wrong about ice skating to the hen house and breaking the ice off her hinny so she can lay an ice cube.......its just wrong........Come on sun give me warmth
Years back I do remember string up regular light bulbs in small areas for a low amount of heat. It too would help keep the ice from forming.

yes BBBB we keep lights in the hen house so they will lay all winter they need 11 hours of light or more to lay eggs......ice is melting and it will be 55 this friday here
Jayne you think you have it bad. It was so windy here that my one hen layed the same egg 3 times.............
YAHHHHHH Backache, and you are going to tell us that when cooked it fed 3 people. LOL
