I picked up a copy of my medical records today from a couple of the places I have seen WC Dr's. On one of the reports from the Dr I am now seeing I noticed the name of a Dr I have never seen and knew nothing about. This Dr I have never seen had been sent a faxed copy of the report from my current Dr. I looked the unknown Dr up on the web and found this person was associated with another hospital pain clinic. Do any of you have any thoughts of why this would have been sent to this person?
Consultation. Dr's often speak with others about cases. To become a Dr they have several mentors. Just my thoughts
I Believe AQA is on the Money with Their Answer. I wouldn't Worry Much about it, just run it by Your Attorney the Next Time You Speak to them if You have One! Best of Luck!!Wink
Is it possible that the Dr. that it was sent to, could have been a Dr. that the i/c hires? I know in my case, the i/c and it's Drs. have gone straight to my Dr. and asked for a copy of his report on myself. To find out, you could do a search using the Drs. name and the words, "law suits". I found the name of the Dr. that the i/c had do my last IME and his name was mentioned in several court cases by my employer.

Just a thought that you can look into.
Every WC visit at my Pain clinic they will send a report to my primary doctor. Do you have a primary doctor? If so, that could be a doctor in that office if you were never assigned one? Just a guess. When I wanted them to stop sending my primary doctor my records after each visit, they told me that had to send them to someone that would be my primary care doc. So I had to keep my primary doctor getting all my records after each visit.
