This is the surgeon that did mine. Now what do I do? I wonder if the warranty is still any good?

TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- An Oklahoma City surgeon who made international headlines several years ago after performing a risky operation that left a young Russian boy brain dead has agreed not to practice medicine while under investigation by state medical officials, The Associated Press has learned.

Paul Christopher Francel is listed as "not practicing" as of Dec. 24, according to Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision records.

Additionally, since June 2007, Francel has been named as a defendant in at least five civil lawsuits claiming medical negligence, court records show.

Oh boy, I think I would be looking for a new surgeon, and count your luck stars that he didn't mess up yours. That is really scary..

My neck surgery resulted in a failed fusion and the three neurosurgeons I have seen since the surgery all suggested that the work he did needed to be completely redone. I don't know maybe it's all in my head...

I already did. I just needed to vent. I found the site where you can look up Oklahoma court records and he is all over it. If I had known before hand I might not have gone to see him.

After all it has ruined my swimsuit modeling carrer.

why bother to wear swimsuits?

Another strange twist in this freaking nightmare is he lives down the road from me and my daughter went on a couple of dates with his son when they were in high school. So I see this man often. He usually turns and looks the other way. As the song says "I'd like to spit some BeechNut in that dudes eye"!!
