Bad Boy, tuffy, all you guys that are getting hit with this terrible weather, please be careful, stock up and stay off the roads.winter is surely here.

Hi Halftrak....In Michigan here....it is certainly nasty. We got several inches of snow and now freezing rain and sleet. It's not suppose to end until around noon today. All the schools are closed, and hardly anyone is on the road.
The storm is coming out of the East, which is a bad sign in any season, but especially in the Winter.
Our back door faces the East, and it was iced completely shut this morning. Hubby had to open the wood door and turn a heater directly onto the storm door in order to thaw it out to be able to open it and let the poor dog out to pee!
Nasty it is...and I won't be leaving the house today at all!

Thanks halftrak, We here are sure getting hit this morning, and it keeps coming. ( that white stuff) We are sure looking at a White Christmas. All schools are closed, some businesses and alot of State and Fed offices. along with other activities. Telling all to stay off the roads. They don't have to hit me in the head!! Icouldn't get out of my driveway without getting stuck.

A good day to make Rum Balls, I have already 2 batches in the freezer, along with fudge, and divinity. cranberry bread, etc

miss lilly is correct anything out of the east in our neck of the woods means something bad is going to happen and it is just got power back not long ago and theres more coming so hold on all its not over yet.

Hurt, I am afraid you are right about more to come, it is just the start of Winter. The ole Farmer says it will be a bad one and he is usually right....
