I received the letter yesterday and funny how the docs name had no Dr. or specialty or anything after his name. At that point I knew something was up so I looked him up on the puter today and he's a psychologist. No big deal, I just figure I won't be getting any TTD until I've seen him and his report is in...that would put it sometime in May if I were to even get it, LMAO! My appt. is in March.

Oh well, just another hurdle to jump through. think I'll wean myself off my happy pill about 2 weeks before I see him, that'll give him something to think about I'm sure, lol

Hugs,
monster
I personally think your approach is correct. I would not go under the influence of any meds.. I would want to be seen as me being me.

I have had three of those exams. Nothing to worry about. Just be yourself and as honest as you can.

Take Care
ah hell Monster just talk about your friends named red, aga, bad boy ,tuffy just like they were normal people he will think your bonkers.....
laughing...jayne that is a good one.... my name is not all that crazy...lol... monster I agree with your approach also...but be careful, those meds are given for a reason ... a psychologist is very good ..... he most likely has a Ph.d...in psychology ...their focus is on quality of life versus what your medications are doing. Most psychologist can't prescribe medication, did he prescribe yours or is there someone else in the picture....love Red
Monster,
My treating psychologist is a QME. If you PM me the name of your QME, I will see if I can find out something about him, but it won't be until my next appt. on Jan. 2nd.

My psychologist said my psyche injury is 100% industrial. My PTP and other docs I've seen have reported it 100% industrial.

Finally, the I/C sent me to an AME who reported 100% industrial related and we thought that would be the end of story. My claim was accepted. NOT! Now we are waiting for supplement reports as another delay tactic. My injury was 19 months ago, and I'm back to work now, but will never be myself again. Different job and still living in pain and depression. No TTD has been paid, and my doctor is working on a lien basis because my claim is legitimate.

Just be prepared for the ride of your life.

Take care! Tongue
Sorry I can't help, Monster>>>I never had to have one but am wishing you luck and sending prayers up.
