OMG I'm in so much trouble. About 4 weeks ago my future daughter in law cut my hair for me. She told me I better not dye or perm my hair because it's in such bad shape. Well The Daver had to go to the Castle to do some work and I was so tired of the dark roots I decided to color my hair..... just a little...... so it would blend together. I get the dye out and I put it on my hair. I even turned the timer on so I wouldn't screw up. Just before I should have taken it out my brother in law calls and keeps me on the phone for 30 minutes. Not to worry I rinse the dye out........ and to my horror I now have really dark brown hair. This wouldn't be so bad, but the Daver likes my hair blonde. So I figure if I just wear a hat or a hoody for the next 5 or 6 weeks, because he knows how cold I get in the winter, he won't even notice what I have done and by that time I can re-dye it. Being so proud of myself for thinking this up I'm looking at my hair in the mirror and again to my horror I notice I had splashed dark hair color all over the back of my wooden bathroom door. Again the LUCY comes out in me, Not to worry I'll just take half of the lightbulbes in the bathroom and unscrew them a bit so it's dark and maybe he won't notice the dark marks all over the door. In my haste to do this and attempts to clean the door I dropped my pierced ear-rings on the floor, which I might add I was smart enough to take out prior to coloring my hair. Now if there is one thing I know in the 10 years the Daver and I have been together, it is, if I lose a post ear-ring he is sure to find it stuck in the bottom of his foot at some point...... So now I'm in the bathroom searching for the allusive ear-ring in the dark and he calls and said he will be home any minute. So again I'll ask.... does anyone have a place for me to stay for lets say the next 5- 6 weeks?LOL
backache.... thanks so much for giving some humor to my life right now... you are so cool...I am not even worried, knowing Dave, and how much he cares for you, he will laugh first and then forgive you, but I doubt he will let you forget it for the next 5-6 weeks. You are right, the Lucy did come out in you..... and I thought that only happened when you put a paint brush in hand....lol...love Red
No, Red, I do these things quite often actually. You know what...paint thinnner, finger nail polish remover and Windex don't take hair dye out of wood.......They sure give you a buzz thou, just kidding. I figure the insanity plea may work if he notices anything. Or I could get him drunk for the next couple of weeks, unfortunately he doesn't drink much........OH I'll think of something I'm sure.
Melaleuca Company's product, Solumel will lighten hair dye.

I wonder what goof off would do in removing hair dye.
It may removed the wodd stain, then you could sand the wood and restain it.
Backache- I have empty bedroom you are welcome to if you need it.But don't think you will, Dave will not be happy with the color but he will get over it. Get some sunin and spray on your hair when you wash it, then blow dry. It will lighten the color as if you were out in the sun, make sure to condition your hair every other time. Or go have your hair done at the beauty shop, they can do it without damage. Would have loved to be a fly on the wall watching you looking for the earings and trying to clean that door. ( laughing)
Just keep His Mind on Hunting, or OTHER THINGSTongue and He May not Notice. If He does, just Tell Him You took too Many Pills, and Look What Happened!!Wink If None of the Above Work, Ellen and I have a Room For You!!Tongue
ahhhh hell girl be smart shave it all off and buy a sexy nitie he wont even be looking at your head......I got a RV you can stay in and the fishing is good here right now
So far so good. The hoody thing worked last night......Dave kept looking at me as if he noticed something was up, but after being married to me for so long you can tell he doesn't want to say anything just incase he is wrong. The poor guy is always getting into trouble because I ask him 2 sided questions so he has learned not to say too much. Last week I asked him if the green pants or the tan ones made me look fatter? He just stood there not knowing what to say and then changed the subject. He is going out hunting today, so I'll get busy on the door. I figure if I wash my hair about a million times today it will lighten it up a bit. Jayne I definately think he would notice if I was bald....LOL
Hairdresser said, safest way is to rinse hair constantly with Vinegar. Rinse with Vinegar at least 3 to 5 times daily.

Wet hair, apply Vinegar, work it in, let sit a few minutes, and rinse. Towel dry only, don't comb, or bush damp hair.
just put on that sexy piece you have hidden or be in ur birthday suit what he comes home sitting so he can see you when he walks in and take it from there and see if anything POPS UP he,he,he.sorry could not resist.
