well, how could there be? maybe i should re-phrase my question so you can understand it...i'm just wondering how podiatrists are recieved by workers comp., just to get a general idea of boundaries.

Podiatrists are allowed under the Florida Statutes and I am certain in many other states as well. There are many subscribed to our managed care network and are reimbursed according to the Florida Fee Schedule. I use them often here in Florida for foot/ankle injuries.

I am not an expert, just so you know! My WC IC in MA would not pay for a podiatrist when I asked to go to one that was recommended to me, but when my surgeon referred me to one, they covered it. So I would guess that you need a referral!
