I received a phone call today from the doctor on the biopsy report. I saw a specialist 2 wks ago for a skin eval for possible skin cancer

The biopsy confirmed the skin cancer, the type I have is basal cell.

I will be contacting a surgeon in Kansas City for a consultation and to schedule surgery.

The type of surgery I will have is mohs surgery, where the tissue will be examined layer by layer in removing the tumor. Once all the cancer cells are removed I will have plastic surgery the same day.

I did update my wc attorney on the skin cancer and he did not feel it would be a conflict with work comp.

Oh Geeze Bummer! I am so sorry you have to go through yet another surgery!
When does it stop? It seems as if once one has surgery...it opens up the chances for another & another.
