To all my extended family,
I want all of you to know that I am not staying away by choice. My plate is always so full and along with not feeling good I am not spending much time on the computer. I try to come and read but I always seem to be so far behind on everything.
As you all know, I have a mother that is constantly sick and I am trying to take care of her. I also have a younger sister that has a work related injury and is having lots of health problems. She has had 2 surgeries so far since last December on her hands. She also has other problems such as Reynauds Syndrome, Polycythemia, and RA along with the carpel tunnel and ulnar nerve syndrome. She is also taking the infusions of Orencia for her RA and is suffering from many side affects. Not to even mention all the problems she is having to get paid what she is due. She still has not started collecting her disability, long term, from the benefit from her employer nor has WC began to pay her either. We all know how that is.....fight, fight, fight and I am trying to help her as well.
I also have my next door neighbor that had a 15 year old son that was hit by a car while waiting for the bus right here next to me. This happened on Oct. 17th and he passed away on Oct. 20th from severe head injuries. I have been trying to be there for them preparing meals, offering my support and just doing whatever I can to help them through this tragic ordeal. This has been a real difficult 2 weeks for me. He was such a great kid, never in trouble, always trying to help and be there for others. Just a great kid with a big, big heart. We always ask, why do things like this happen to good people? We also know that our questions are never answered. The horrible thing about this is the driver that hit him is not being honest about how this happen and it is being made that this was the childs fault. Looking at everything and the drivers statements to not fall into place. I just hate the fact this this childs death is being made to be in vain. Just a difficult time for all of us and his family....my God, they are devastated.
Anyway, I just wanted to offer an update on things going on in my end of the world. I hope all is doing as well as they can be. I miss all of you deeply and will try to check in when I am able or feeling well enough. God Bless all of you and may you have have a pain free day.
