Fractured knee cap in May 08. Missed 2 months work. No problem with weekly payments. Released from Dr. mid August and received rating by end of Aug. Was told by IC rep I would be contacted for review within 4 weeks. It's been 8wks now. Called WC commission and was told could be another 6 weeks before they could schedule review. I'm in SC, my rating is 7% for lower extremities and 3% overall body. Does anyone know which percent figure they use? My legs are of upmost importance in my work. 2nd question, why it takes so long just to get a review? Any other advice pertinent to South Carolina

Same here. Bumping it up. I can't answer your question becaus ethey are state specific. For instance my rating had nothing to do with how much my settlement was worth.

I think it depends on what your injury was. Spinal disability generally is unscheduled and takes a whole person impairment rating.
the length of time is determined by the workload. The more requests and the fewer the reviews the longer it takes to get a reply.
