My attorney called this afternoon, court which was scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed. Court was for adding the back and carpal tunnel to my claim.

The insurance company has been going thru the medical records from my primary care physican and are questioning if my back problems are related to the auto accident.

My auto accident was December 2007 is which I received neck injuries. I received 2 weeks of physical therapy for my neck along with medication.

Complants of low back pain started Dec 2006.

I believe this is a case of the insurance company trying to find an excuse not to pay.

I was hoping to begin medical treatment soon on my back, and my doctor wants me to see a surgeon now so surgery can be scheduled on the carpal tunnel, he says if surgery is delayed I will use use of my dominant hand.

I am very discouraged, guess I am having a pity party.

Bummer it's ok, We haven't had a Pity Party in a long time,,,,,, And with all you have been going through you deserve it. I will bring the Brownies.

I am so sorry to hear they are playing games with you Bummer. They love to do that to the injured worker for some reason. Like we do not have enough troubles to worry about and trying to heal our wounded bodies. This only adds to the stress.

I can truely understand how it feels to have problems with your dominant hand. I they could tie their hand behind their back all day , then maybe they would understand how important it is for us to have.

I feel bad for you, and it makes me MAD that the hearing was canceled...but didn't you maybe expect it?
You know this is their tactic...stall, stall, stall....I wish there was some legal reprimand for the IC's actions...Now is the time to let your lawyer bear the weight and stress of it all. Your time will come...just not tomorrow.

Bummer, I just Recently had a Hearing Scheduled for a Penalty Petition, because when I won in April, the i/c was Ordered to Pay for All of My Meds., Something they Haven't Done for Years!! We asked for a 50% Penalty, because the Amount Owed to My Pharmacy was in Excess of $30,000.00, and I Receive the Penalty Monies, and they have to Pay My Pharmacy Interest and Late Fees. 3 Days before the i/c Attorney Phoned Mine, and Ask for a Continuance and when My Attorney Called Me I Said "No Way" I went through 3 of these on My Original Hearings! My Attorney wrote Him a Letter Stating My Request for no Continuance, and Shortly After My Attorney Received a Fax Stating that the Hearing was Rescheduled!! When I got the Actual Paperwork, it Stated Under "Reason for Continuance" that All Parties Agreed!!!!! Rolleyes

I said NO, but the i/c Attorney Lied to the Judge and said we had Agreed! He did this to Me Once during the First Hearing, and when We made the Judge Aware of what He had done, the Judge did NOTHING to the i/c Attorney! So We are going to Bring it Up Again, but I'm Sure Nothing will be Done, and I know what they are going to do: A Couple Days before the Next Hearing, they are going to Pay the Bill, and Tell the Judge it was an Inter-Office Mistake, and if the Judge Buys it, (This is a Different Judge than I Had the First Time) I may Walk Away with No Penalty at All!! Talk about Pis*ed, they can get away with Games Like this, but if We Miss One Appt. We are Out of the W/c System!! I Hope this has Helped You to See it's not Only You, it's Happening to a Lot of Us, and We should Rent a Hall for the Pity Party, and have a He** of a Time!!! Smile
