Hi all...just to let you know that Vickie has done her first day of her trip home. She is at my house now. I know I am east of her, but we have some plans before she goes west. Love Red

I'm glad that I finally made it here, terrible storms rain & wind bad. Took longer than it should have, but I'm safe.
I'm looking forward to my visit, but will be taking my time to get across the country.
I will keep in touch when I can, my computer isn't a lap top so it is packed away in the van.

i guess you didnt find the cross stitch you wanted the girls to do right? it must have skipped town with a old atlas i had all marked up that has yet to be found LOLLOL

Vickie you have a cell phone , just make sure you keep the phone numbers close so we can keep track of you... Drive safe, and remember what we talked about as far as safety on the road. See ya soon..........

Funny you mentioned about the cross stitch, I was telling Red earlier about wanting your girls to do it, but I could'nt find it. Low and behold, while putting the last of my things from my room into a box, I found it. It had slipped behind the dresser.
If they are still willing to do it for me, I will send it to you once I finally reach my destination and unpack. Unfortuantly I don't know if it is in one of the bins that are packed in my van. I had quite a bit of things that would'nt fit and my friend will ship them to me later. Let me know.

Thank you for your comments. I do have my cell phone with the numbers in it. I will basically be travelly across Rt.80, if the weather gets snowy or too bad in the higher areas, I will have to drop down to Rt 40. My maps are in the van, so I'm not sure about all of the states that I will pass thru at this moment.
I'm enjoying visiting Red and she has taught me how to paint my Christmas balls. I was up most of last night and very stressed during the drive today in the bad storms, but now I feel relaxed.
