my thumb was cut off on the job 9-10-08, it was damaged so bad they couldn't put it back. Want happen's when you lose part of your hand with comp?
If you give us a state we can give you relevant info.
most states have a disability schedule that makes additional disability payments for amputations. If you are in an impairment state once recovery has been completed the doctor will send an impairment rating to the comp board for them to calculate the additional payments.

I am sorry to hear of your injury. There is compensation for a loss of any body part. You should be compensated for that ,and there is a percentage like 1171 stated depending on what state you are in.
Welcome to the forum.

does anyone know if they will replace my glasses, the machine that pulled my thumb off throw me face first into a cement sidewalk. it bent the frames and i can't see through the lens because they hit the cement hard and my face slid.
each state has individual caselaw decisions as to whether "glasses" would be considered part of the injury. some states may since there was also an accompanying physical injury.
you'll have to contact the carrier or the TWCC to see what the caselaw is on that issue.
