Admin,

Thank You so much for the tribute. 9-11 is a day that I will never forget. Although I don't think that I knew anyone on any of the planes or towers, I was working for a collection agency in Las Vegas, who's main offices were located in tower 2.

I had gotten out of the shower and was getting ready to go to work and was watching Katie Couric on Good Morning America as she talked about the first plane having hit tower 1. I sat in total shock as I watched tower 2 being hit, thinking this was something like a spoof of "War of the Worlds", but knowing in my heart that it was the real thing. Had I lived closer, I would have been one of the first volunteers on the scene as I still had an active EMT license out of Michigan. Instead there was nothing I could do but sit and pray for the souls of those that lost their lives that day.

I never did make it to work that day. And it didn't matter. After that day the company no longer existed as all of their major records were lost when tower 2 went to the ground. Although it is predicted to be a cold wet day here tomorrow, I will still fly my flag with honor.

It is hard to believe it has been 7 years since that horrific attack on our homeland. I pray for all the families that lost love ones in this tragic attack. I too will proudly display my flag tomorrow. Listening to a news program today they were saying that sadly we are no safer now then we were then.
Thanks Admin for the tribute. Here's another one that I think is very beautiful:

No one should ever forget! But many have and many will. How terribly dangerous and sad that is.
Thank you admin for posting your tribute. I was in the shower when BF came running to tell me about the 1st tower. At that time no one knew what was going on. I watched as long as I could before heading for work and found out from the radio that we were under attack. We listened to the radio news until my boss finally turned it off 3 or 4 hours later.

I will never forget how everything seemed so surreal that day and how the skies looked that day and the next with no planes in the sky.

God Bless those who lost their lives to 911 and the family they left behind. Many are still ill from the concrete dust they breathed while attempting rescues. May God be with them all as well as our troops.
And so that none would ever would forget, here is what was created with part of the scrap steel from the twin towers.
