I too am waiting admin...can't wait to hear the truth on all the matters of life. I have been waiting too long to know who what where and when about life. Waiting, Waiting, Waiting....lol love all of you lots Red
I find reading this thread very interesting. This evening the news finally got to were they always do when there is an election. It is the truth or lie section. Tonight it was about John McCain and his VP..

The issue was about the bridge to no where and the plane.
She voted for the bridge at the beginning. It was after congress had siad no that she did the same. As far as the plane goes, it was listed on e-bay, but did not sell on e-bay and did not sell for a profit as John McCain said. It did sell through a broker and at a loss to Alaska.

Tomorrow they will be repoting about Obama. It should be interesting. I guess I should be happy when there is an election. That is how the people decidide who should govern them. I just wish there was not some much political garbage involed.
Look for a much more glowing report about Obama. The media is "in the tank" for him. Until last week the Alaska Democrat party had an item on their website blaming Palin for killing the bridge to nowhere. That has mysteriously disappeared.

There is a great article about the bridge to nowhere here. It gives a frightening look at how the c(currently Democrat controlled) congress works:

Also, this CNN article covers the cancellation of the project. While it is not entirely clear from the article on where the credit (blame) lays, a line referring to proponents of the bridge;

"They called the state's decision premature, saying it came without warning."

really tells us it was the state (governor) that killed it.

As for the plane, I did not hear McCains "profit" comment. I would have expected it to sell at a loss. That is not the point. They never should have bought it in the first place. The same story is happening in New Mexico right now over a private plane their governor bought.

ADMIN.....A very wise man, my Dad, always said and I quote "I am not always right but I'm never wrong" I have felt that I had to behave on this thread as the "boss" has contributed so much and is watching.Tongue

I am still reading everyone's thoughts and am looking forward to the one on one debates. That will clear my head enough to make a decision.

God bless,

CAP, I use a similar statement. I often say to people "I'm not always right, but I'm never in doubt". Smile

Don't be afraid to share your opinion on my account. It won't change anything on this board. I enjoy the exchange, and respect diverse opinions. My business partner is a big Obama man. We get along great, but we probably spend more time talking (arguing) politics than business.
ADMIN>>> Gotta love a sure manWink

Never ever afraid or hold back. It's been nice having you around. Just a joke about the "Boss";) Don't really have an opinion yet. I need to see some one on one to really make an educated decision. Am reading all opinions here but in the end it's mine that will pull that lever. Have a good one!

interesting posts from everyone ...

But Could the talks on tv get back to the real reasons for the elections .... Change

I agree Tweety. All news programs are airing is criticism of each party towards the other. In reading the paper yesterday I read an article slamming palin and then one slamming biden. This is every day. That's why I'm looking forward to some one on one interviews and debates.

I hope both parties get better at getting the message out.It is so hard for people to make an informed choice...I look at their records of past deeds, reguardless of what they say NOW most will go back to doing what they were doing before the election process.....So I google em all listen to several different networks and make my choice.Either D ticket was out of the question before the end of the primarys as another 4 years of clinton where he could prey on young pages was unthinkable to this Mom.....And Obama would put us into a deep depression with his programs.......I got ticked when a comment was made about Palin not being able to handle her own family(dau pregnanacy) when clinton couldnt handle his own zipper...as we all know a zipper (on a grown man)should be easier to watch than a couple of teenagers hot with hormones.....While no sex is preferrable to us parents I remember as a teen what it was like so all my kids from 13 up understand birth control but I teach it NOT the schools.
I like McCain and I love his choice of Palin I believe the 2 of them are gonna get our budget back under control...she has already done it in Alaska And lord knows he understands National security......No one team can do it all tho it is gonna take all of us working together to get it done....McCain and Palin has shown both are willing to work with both parties...where Obama is blameing the Rep for everything when in reality it took all those ol farts in washington to put us in this mess.....And its gonna take all of them working together to get us out....we cant support or not support a bill just because our party brought it out...we gotta suport it or not on weather or not its good for the UNITED STATES as a whole...not just one state. Its time for someone to bring us together to work together for the common good......
