I wondering the same thing. Was this a same day surgery...I sort of doubt it...but either way he will most likely be in lot of pain for a day or two maybe more...lets all keep him in our prayers...love Red
Hi Everyone! My Surgery wasn't Yesterday, I had to get a CT Scan, and discuss and Schedule the Surgery. It will be on My Right Ear, My Dr. is still Working on My Left Ear and it looks Pretty Good, I may not have to get Surgery on the Left. My Right One, though is filled with Scar Tissue throughout the Outer Ear Canal, so My Dr. is going to have to go in from behind the Ear, and make Me a New Ear Canal. My Ear Drum looks good, so the Surgery is only going to be to Re-build the Outer Canal. I will have Probes in 3 Places in My face, because She is going to be Working Very Close to the Nerve that Controls my Facial Expressions, and the Probes will Alert Her if She is Getting too Close to that Nerve. It's Scheduled for May 10th, and I will be Coming Home the Same Day, You know how Hospitals and Insurances are, You have to be Half Dead to stay Overnight! So I'm Happy that My Hearing should be Saved, and Nervous about the Surgery, but I Guess that's Normal. My Dad just Stopped, I'll Talk to You all Later, Have a Great Day!!Wink
Still In Limbo

Thanks for the update.
Stilll thanks for letting us know how you are doing. I just don't understand why people must be sent home so early after something like this. Red
Limbo .... I am so glad that this surgery will help save your hearing. With all you have going I am also glad when one thing is being taken care of. I'm starting to keep a list and check things off one at a time when they're dealt with. Best always.

Still, That is good news, surgery on one ear is much better than two, ( If you have to have surgery) It will be soon and it will be behind you. My thoughts and prayers for a complete recovery coming your way.
