im not sure if anybody can help me,but let me give u a short discription of my problem.i have been on workers comp for the last 14yrs,i was getting a (cost of living adjustment )every 2yrs until a year ago when i was suppost to get my increase they sent me a letter telling me that i would no longer be getting (cost of living adjustments).the insurance company also took away ever increase i ever had putting me back to the same weekly amount i first started getting after my injury 14yrs ago.the insurance company( liberty mutual)also told me that i was not going to be recieving anymore (cola adj.) in the future.that leaves me getting paid less than $300.00 dollars a week for the rest of my life.so as life gets more expensive gas, food, everthing, i can only count the days until i can`t afford to live. i am totally disabled i had a concrete panel dropped on me from about 12ft. above me if i did`nt see the shadow i would be dead.clocks ticking HELP!Sad
this is the employers and other work comp professional page. there is a separate page for injured workers.
you can appeal the decision to your state's work comp court.
1171,I put the thread on this page by accident I could not take it off.I have been waiting for 8 months to go back to the appeals court my lawyer told me the judge could make the court date whenever he wanted.
