I believe most of you know my history. I need bilateral knee replacement, have S1 joint dysfunction, marked grade 4 tear at L5 and L4 with leaky disc.

As my left knee condition has progressed I find myself awake at night with a horrible stabing & pin & needles pain in the bottom of my left foot. I believe I have pain also down the leg, With the whole leg hurting it is hard to tell one pain from another.

The nerve pain down my right leg & foot has increased recently.
The last few days I have been having a burning pain on the inside of my right foot and the back of my leg.

Does anyone know of any web sites where I can check my symptoms and figure out what is going on. I recently rebooted my computer and lost my bookmarked web pages.

At this time I am not receiving treatment for my back but working towards including it in my wc claim.
Do you think you have RSD? I would definitly look at the symptoms for that. I wish i could help me. Someone else should come along soon that may know more. I hope you can get some relief.
Bummer, I wish I could help you, but I don't know what helps the nerve pain. I have had it for almost a year and it hasn't let up and the dr never would offer any help for it. I had a herniated L4-L5 and L5-S1 & L3-L4 are bulging with tears. Even after having my surgery on L4-L5 last June, I am still having the nerve pain. I hope you get some relief for yours soon. I know it isn't any fun to deal with.
What causes RSD? I feel my back & leg/nerve problems are mild compared to others on this forum.
BK, I can not find the site that I was looking for, but this one may help. http://www.backpain-guide.com/Chapter_Fi...atica.html
