After reading my update, please come back here and vote for why you think my attorney had a change of heart.

1. For his own personal gain
2. He's doing me a favor by trying not to make this last another yr.
3. He just wants this case over with, doesnt matter how low the amount?
4. The other attorney tipped him off to something at the hearing.

Once you said that your Father knows the Governor, he probably thought, WOW, this girl knows people...maybe she will tell the Governor about me. Let us know if he mentions anything.
Princess when do we hear the real reason...do you know it yet..?

I dont know if I will ever find out. But im paying very close attention to his questions. If he starts bringing my dad up or other people, then that would be the reason why, personal gain.

Prncess~
That's really a tough question for me to answer--without actually experiencing the energy exchanged between you and your lawyer.
This is purely speculation-your attorney (and you) have a tough case to prove. Your company has denied this from the git-go. You have been financially and emotionally stressed through this entire ordeal. There may be a number out there that is acceptable to both parties to make this go away. And your attorney may be trying to find it.

Thanks for the reply VK. actually, the company didnt deny it at first. I was approved 7 weeks after my first surgery that was the end of Aug 06, in Oct of 06, the claim was put into dispute. Thats when I hired the attorney and the fighting began. I would love to settle this and get it over with, but at this point we dont know exactly the extent of the permanent damage until after ive been in therapy for about 3 months or so. As it looks now, its very possible that I will be headed in for surgery number 3. My shoulder is pushed forward and its not allowing all the muscles work correctly. Its hindering a lot of my range of motion. I cant lift my arm straight up in the air, nor can I put my arm behind my back or across my chest. This we know so far wont change unless I get the shoulder back aligned. I found this out yesterday at therapy. When I asked him what caused the shoulder to not be aligned anymore, the therapist clearly stated it was from the fall, and he did write that down in my file.
Sad oh prncess....another surgery? i feel so bad. amazes me what goes on with our bodies a year later or more that no one sees or cares to see at first. i wis you the best, i think you know that, but just feel so bad you aren't finished with the surgeries yet. prayers are coming your way!

Cap- Thank you! It does suck, but this surgery wont be for a short while, not something im gonna schedule right now. Im gonna keep praying that the therapy will work and I will get aligned again. First surgeon didnt notice, first PT didnt notice, 2nd surgeon noticed and really thought PT would fix it. He said it would of, if the first place I went to didnt screw up with my treatment. The new pt noticed it the first day and its been part of my therapy since. The anchors and such are pretty much healed, so its harder to move it around. They are going to keep trying, no one including myself is giving up on it. Heres and example what its like, take your good shoulder and push it forward as far as it will go now try to move that arm. See how hard it is to move and how much control you dont have? That shoulder position is how my shoulder is now.
