I read today in the local paper that one of the issues before Kansas Legislators is workers compensation. This can only be about legislation to be introduced to further restrict workers compensation in our state.

I believe it was 2005 when legislation was introduced during the session and became law July 1, 2005 restricting workers compensation.

I will check the blueskyways web page and see if I can locate any information on wc.

I do plan on contacting my state senator although he is the one that introduced the wc bill in 2005. Also he is a former trustee for the college where I worked and a good friend and neighbor to the president of the college. Also I have an open wc case.

Question:
If I advocate for workers rights this legislative session is it going to have an impact on my wc case?
Bummer, I don't know if it will have an effect on your case or not. It shouldn't, but who knows. Please let me know what you find out and where you find the information. Being from Kansas I am interested.
For those interested I will visit with my state senator when he is home on weekends to findout what the work comp issues are before legislators this session.

I will then share what I findout.
