Are you able to do any type of work? If so, try and file for unemployment.
Im sure others will be around with better advice.

Good luck!
Call that attorney and have them get things moving !!!!
please put state that you are in so someone can give you some help !!
We need more infromation

Welcome to theforum sorry but Im still a newbie so others will be along with help .. give opinions
please feel free to vent, tell a funny ,.
Has the attorney been in contact with the IC (insurance company)? If so, what is he telling you? I'm assuming that WC hasn't issued you any large checks that they may have considered settlement, right? If that's the case then I would be hard pressed to speak with your attorney about what's going on and what can be done. You don't state where you're from so it's next to impossible what laws affect you or not. Believe me, they are not universal!! Please give us some more information so that we may possibly help you. Such as injury, what state, what all has been done to help you or not, etc.
If you've been put at MMI (maximum medical improvement) by any of your Dr.'s have you had an impairment rating or an FCE (Funcitonal Capacity Evaluation)? If these have not happened then I would begin by asking your attorney to help you to either get: more treatment, pain management, impairment rating and FCE. Also, ask about any Voc Rehab programs that your state might utilize. Voc Rehab can be a good thing...depending on our counselor. I know that mine has been very helpful. I don't always agree with him, but....if we all agreed all the time this world would be pretty darn boring! As well, I should tell you that there are no two cases alike. There may be alot of similarities, but in the end...we are all individuals with various needs.
Welcome to our little corner of the world. You'll find that we're one big family here. So feel free to pop on anytime and ask some questions, vent your frustrations, tell a funny or give an opinion!! Opinions are what we do best around here!!! For the most part we're all IW's (injured workers) from various walks of life, professions that have traveled this road both alone and together. We'll do the best to help you through our own experiences and what we've learned from our cases and lawyers.
Depends whether restrictions are permanent or temporary; the rules are different for each.
Try unemployment and social security.

I am from Indiana and an 80 lb head off of an engine fell on my left foot....I have had pain for almost 3 yrs and have had every test run possible..but the "work doctor" says there is nothing wrong...although I have 5 other doctors that say I have crps and arthritis has set in, I have no money what so ever coming in but i still have insurnance..if i go to work somewheres else what becomes of that? HELP
workers comp will still cover you if you change jobs .... its not normal insurance .. it is insurance for the employer ...
Im opinion would be get all reports from those 5 doctors and talk tolawyer

Light afire under their A!!!!
Crazy, I agree with the others here, it's time to speak with an attorney. They would be best suited to give you the correct advice for your State, and set you on the right road. Best of Luck!!Wink
get a lawyer now
Indiana, that's the problem. Ask your Attorney for an appointment and sit down and talk your case out with them, ask your questions then, and resolve all your issues at that time. There isn't much more you can do, if not being treated over this 2 year period. CRPS, you would be begging for a Doctor and help. Trust many here they know.
