Sounds to me like you need to talk to your Dr. and attorney if you have one. It seems they are trying to get you back to work way too soon, as not to have to pay Comp. or have any workers lost time. Know your rights and protect them, talk to someone quick and get things slowed down or it could turn bad for you. Just my opinion, but please be careful, they don't have your well-being in mind and only you can protect yourself! I hope everything goes well for you and Best of Luck!!Wink
Hi sweet tooth.....I have to tell you I have seen this at my work. Theyhad one woman whohad a severe cervical injury and 2 surgeries just sit in a chair and look around all day and I might add paid her handsomely. I'm with Still in Limbo, you need to talk to your Dr. and Attorney. It's definitely a game they play. Best of luck.

sweet tooth....if the doctor writes restrictions that says something about not sitting in a chair for long periods etc, then that is what will happen. The IC doesn't really care if you go back to work, it is the employer who is afraid of what this will cost the company. For instance, no matter what is paid by the IC in the end the company pays it all back to the IC and then some. The company is trying to avoid a long loss time accident which in the end will cost them more than you are ever going to recieve from the IC. Don't misunderstand me, I don't think you should go to work, I am just trying to explain the source of why they want you to come back. Best of luck and keep up updated.
Like Red said your doctor will list your restrictions...make sure ot follow them...if your employer says NO to any of the restrictions, then I guess you can't do the job. Right?! Make sure you tell your ATTORNEY eveything that your employer said and wants you to do.
