Hi ChicGO

Glad to hear you are getting back to normal and working. As far as a settlement it all depends on the i/c how fast they want to move. Don't be to quick to take the first offer because they will try to lowball you. But we never get what we think our injuries are worth.

good luck
Well aug. 31st the doctor put me at MMI and let me go back to work 40 hours a week with PERMANENT injuries and the ic said they would set up an PI rating. Well, i got to know someone that works for w/c and she told me to call the doctor to set up my rating as they will take forever to contact me to get one. I called the Ortho doc that put me at MMI and the secretary said the ic has to sign a legal form saying i can get my rating done.

Everything was signed by the ic on Friday and my PI rating is set for Jan. 2nd of next year. There is a long wait, and my NCM was upset that i was going for my rating so soon. But, i have the apt. and ready to go. It states in the NH law that it should be 6 months before you go for your Permanent impairment rating. Jan. 2nd is only 5 months after being put at MMI but noone said anything to me that it was a month sooner than it should be. Good luck, and i would NOT wait around for them to give you a call to set up the PI rating.
Chicagoboy
