I am currently on workers comp in tx due to a fall last Dec.I have been diagnosed with two herniated disks, radiculopathy, lumbar strain and sciatica.Recently I fell at home again due to my back locking up and my leg giving away from weakness and numbness from these injuries..I went to the Er with wrist and shoulder pain.I have a small fracture on my wrist and a possible torn rotator cuff.My question is would my new injuries be considered under workers comp since the injuries I had contributed
to the reason I fell?Any help would be appreciated.
whether the work injury caused the fall at home will likely have to be determined by the comp court.
if the court rules it is then you would be entitled to additional comp benefits to cover it.
So I guess my next step would be to report it to my workers comp adjustor. Thanks for the post!I really appreciate it.
You could, but I think you would be better off speaking with your dr. first.

I wish I could but thats a whole other issue. I havent been able to see a treating doctor for months for any of my injuries. The one I was seeing was allowed to only see WC patients three times and I ha exceeded that.I have called over 40 doctors and still cant find one to take my case. After my recent injury the Er stated I needed to see an orthopedic doctor but I need a referral from a PCP for that.I also dont have private insurance so I am just stuck.
